Success Rates Using Frozen Donor Eggs
Average Number of Embryos per Transfer 1.01
Clinical Pregnancy Rate 53%

  • A clinical pregnancy is defined as an intrauterine pregnancy with a gestational sac seen on ultrasound at 7-9 weeks.
  • A small percentage of patients is expected to miscarry after the gestational sac is seen on ultrasound. This is more likely in older age groups. These pregnancy losses explain a lower delivery rate than clinical pregnancy rate.
  • The rates above include transfers of previously frozen blastocyst embryos.

Please Note: A comparison of egg bank and fertility clinic success rates may not be meaningful because methodology, course of treatment, and patient populations are unique to each institution.
